Jalaj Saxena is a veteran Indian domestic all‑rounder, born on 15 December 1986 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He bats right‑handed and bowls right‑arm off‑break — a dual skillset that has allowed him to contribute significantly with both bat and ball for nearly two decades in Indian domestic cricket.  Saxena made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh cricket team in the 2005–06 season. Over the years, he established himself as one of the most consistent performers in domestic cricket, amassing 7,060 first‑class runs and 484 wickets as of 2025. In 2024, he became the first player in the history of Ranji Trophy to complete the double of 6,000+ runs and 400+ wickets — a testament to his longevity, all‑round ability, and consistent high performance.

Throughout his career he has played for multiple clubs and teams: starting with Madhya Pradesh, later moving to Kerala cricket team in 2016 where he spent nine seasons, and ahead of the 2025‑26 season, he signed with Maharashtra cricket team. As an all‑rounder, Jalaj offers both reliable middle‑order batting — including multiple centuries and fifties in first‑class cricket — and effective off‑spin bowling, making him a valuable asset for any side. Given his experience, all‑round contributions, and recent move to a fresh domestic side, he remains a strong candidate for clubs seeking a seasoned overseas/all‑round professional — whether for English league cricket or other overseas contracts (under an International Sportsperson Visa).
